The Neumann KM 183 is a combination of the modular KM A miniature microphone and the KK 183 omnidirectional, along with the KM A amplifier.
This is a condenser microphone with a small-diaphragm to provide low self-noise and increased dynamic range.
It is diffuse-field equalised for linear and transparent frequency response.
It can be used for close-miking of instruments.
