This head is finely machined for greater positioning and a smooth, certain action and features three built-in spirit levels for horizontal and vertical control.
The Manfrotto 229 head has a quick release camera plate with secondary safety catch for added security.
Camera attachment is via a 1/4"" + 3/8"" screw.
